Buddy was brought to Wild Horse Mesa and dumped over the 4th of July weekend. He... is around 25
to 30 years old, and very thin. He waits by the side of the road, in the spot his owner dropped him off,
hoping someone will come and get him.
He is a very sweet and friendly old man, loves company. I go check on him with food and water a
couple times a day and other neighbors visit him too. He is looking for a forever home to live out his
life, and be taken care of like he deserves.
The above photo and text is by Judy Barnes who found Buddy.
Buddy has found a home at DreamCatchers Equine Rescue!!!
DreamCatchers Equine Rescue is a group of dedicated individuals who have come together in their
love of horses to do what we can to preserve the dignity of these magnificent beings.
It is our belief that every horse has a special human and it just takes time and opportunity for them to
find each other.
During these hard economic times, our horse friends are ever more at risk of being abused, neglected,
starved, abandoned or sold to the kill buyers at auction. Help us save and protect these wonderful
animals until they find their permanent loving homes with their very special humans. Visit their web site, http://www.dcerinc.com.
Please visit the "DreamCatchers" web site, they are a non-profit organization and they do remarkable
work with our equine friends who so need their help! Please if you can donate anything to help these
magnificent animals and Buddy", it would so be appreciated. They take Pay Pal at their web site.
